Roma, 18 dicembre 2023 – Si è riunito a Roma il nuovo Consiglio della Federazione del Mare che, dopo aver proceduto alla ratifica della decisione dell’Assemblea del 28 novembre che all’unanimità aveva nominato Mario Mattioli presidente per il prossimo triennio, ha proceduto alla nomina dei tre Vicepresidenti, del Segretario Generale, dei Vicesegretari Generali e dei Presidenti dei Comitati, che entreranno in carica dal 1° gennaio 2024.
Sono stati confermati Vice-Presidenti: Anton Francesco Albertoni, (CONFINDUSTRIA NAUTICA), Luigi Giannini (FEDERPESCA) e Claudio Graziano (ASSONAVE).
Laurence Martin, capo del servizio Relazioni internazionali di Confitarma, è stata confermata nel ruolo di Segretario generale della Federazione.
Sono stati nominati Vice-Segretari generali: Giorgio Berlingieri (AIDIM), Alessandro Ferrari (ASSITERMINAL) e Lorenzo Paolizzi (ANGOPI).
Il Consiglio ha anche deciso la costituzione dei Comitati sui seguenti temi e dei relativi Presidenti:
- Transizione energetica e Decarbonizzazione: Presidente Gianni Murano (UNEM)
- Semplificazione: Presidente Alessandro Santi (FEDERAGENTI);
- Geopolitica: Presidente Claudio Graziano (ASSONAVE);
- Capitale umano: Presidente Eugenio Massolo (Accademia Marina Mercantile);
- Inclusione, Diversità, Parità di genere: Presidente Mario Mattioli (CONFITARMA)
Nel corso della riunione, il Consiglio ha deliberato l’adesione di FEDERCHIMICA–ASSOGASLIQUIDI, l’Associazione nazionale che rappresenta le aziende che distribuiscono GPL (gas di petrolio liquefatto) e GNL (gas naturale liquefatto).
“Come ho sempre detto, è importante un’azione congiunta e solidale di tutti gli attori della filiera della blue economy – ha affermato Mario Mattioli – Per questo sono particolarmente lieto di poter annoverare da oggi Federchimica-Assogasliquidi nella Federazione del mare auspicando un ulteriore ampliamento della nostra compagine associativa per una rappresentanza sempre più efficace di tutto il cluster marittimo italiano a fianco delle Istituzioni competenti”.

Rome, 18 December 2023 – The new Council of the Federation of the Sea met in Rome and, after proceeding with the ratification of the decision of the Assembly of 28 November which had unanimously appointed Mario Mattioli as president for the next three years, proceeded to appoint the three Vice-Presidents, the Secretary General, the Deputy Secretaries General and the Presidents of the Committees, who will take office from 1 January 2024.

Laurence Martin, head of Confitarma’s International Relations service, has been confirmed in the role of Secretary General of the Federation.
Giorgio Berlingieri (AIDIM), Alessandro Ferrari (ASSITERMINAL) and Lorenzo Paolizzi (ANGOPI) have been appointed Deputy Secretaries General
The Board also decided to set up the Committees on the following topics and their Chairmen:
- Energy Transition and Decarbonization: President Gianni Murano (UNEM)
- Simplification: President Alessandro Santi (FEDERAGENTI);
- Geopolitics: President Claudio Graziano (ASSONAVE);
- Human Capital: President Eugenio Massolo (Merchant Marine Academy);
- Inclusion, Diversity, Gender Equality: President Mario Mattioli (CONFITARMA)
During the meeting, the Board approved the membership of Federchimica-Assogasliquidi, the national association representing companies that distribute LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and LNG (liquefied natural gas).
“As I have always said, it is important for all the players in the blue economy supply chain to act jointly and in solidarity – said Mario Mattioli – This is why I am particularly pleased to be able to include Federchimica-Assogasliquidi in the Federation of the Sea as of today, hoping for a further expansion of our membership structure for an increasingly effective representation of the entire Italian maritime cluster alongside the Institutions competent.”
